it can be even worse when used to rationalize destructive public policy – as
with the increasingly idiotic and oppressive lockdowns that have been imposed
across much of the world. Now perhaps more
than ever we need the corrective provided by the late, great philosopher of science
Paul Feyerabend (1924-1994), who argued trenchantly for a separation of
