Leicester climbed up to second in the Premier League table with a 2-0 victory over Southampton at the King Power Stadium.

Brendan Rodgers’ side leapfrogged Liverpool before the champions take on leaders Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday.

James Maddison opened the scoring in the 37th minute with a strike from an acute angle, before Harvey Barnes killed off the Saints in added time.
