The worst performers of the session were Henkel & Co KGaA AG Pref (DE:), which fell 3.14% or 2.90 points to trade at 89.39 at the close. E.ON SE (DE:) declined 2.55% or 0.233 points to end at 8.921 and RWE AG ST O.N. (DE:) was down 2.23% or 0.800 points to 35.085.
The top performers on the MDAX were HelloFresh SE (DE:) which rose 5.57% to 67.30, K&S AG (DE:) which was up 5.07% to settle at 8.910 and Cancom SE O.N. (DE:) which gained 4.40% to close at 47.420.
The worst performers were Rational AG (DE:) which was down 3.86% to 710.50 in late trade, Gerresheimer AG (DE:) which lost 2.58% to settle at 88.750 and Hannover Rueck SE (DE:) which was down 2.13% to 128.60 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Cancom SE O.N. (DE:) which rose 4.40% to 47.420, S&T AG (DE:) which was up 3.73% to settle at 19.45 and Aixtron SE (DE:) which gained 3.16% to close at 14.775.
The worst performers were Jenoptik AG (DE:) which was down 1.84% to 24.540 in late trade, United Internet AG NA (DE:) which lost 1.14% to settle at 35.580 and Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology O.N. (DE:) which was down 1.44% to 157.40 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 351 to 332 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in Delivery Hero AG (DE:) rose to all time highs; up 5.64% or 7.70 to 144.25. Shares in HelloFresh SE (DE:) rose to all time highs; up 5.57% or 3.55 to 67.30. Shares in Aixtron SE (DE:) rose to 52-week highs; up 3.16% or 0.453 to 14.775.
